My passion is all things financial and their
relationship with building wealth.
And I strongly believe that building a business
which enables you to build leverage of time and money and which
ultimately allows you to stop trading your time for money.
So let's continue our discussion about the key
criteria to use to evaluate any business opportunity you may be
considering.
Number 3: Effective networking and
support.
Many home business opportunities sound good up
front, but you quickly find out you are on your own in terms of
support.
No matter how good the underlying product, in
the absence of effective support, you are likely to either fail
(meaning you will decide to quit) or struggle a long time while you
are figuring things out.
I touched on this a little bit when talking
about training systems last issue, but the key question is "what
guidance, mentorship and coaching is in place that allows you to tap
into those who have come before you?"
Is there a leader who is interested in your
success (perhaps even financially motivated to see you succeed), and
is there an infrastructure in place by which they can guide you to
find answers to your questions.

Now understand this does not
mean there are people who will do your work for you. No coach or
mentor worth their salt will ever attempt to do your work for you.
Rather, they will expect you to do the work, but will happily point you in
the right direction so that you avoid unnecessary blunders.
So pay attention to this one, because it is
very important and is often what separates one opportunity from
another. Number 4: High
ticket, value items.
It takes the same effort to sell a bottle of
pills as it does to sell a car or even a house.
This is the absolute truth.
So, given the effort required is the same, why
not get paid the maximum for the effort you put out?
I believe in building a home based business
that will provide me time freedom, so part of the puzzle then is to
find an opportunity that pays me a large commission or profits for
each sale I am able to make.
This way, even a couple of sales a month will
pay me well and I can enjoy the rest of my time.
Now the product must still have value, but
since that's already been established as a key pre-requisite, the
higher ticket the item, the more money I will put in my pocket for
the same amount of work. |
